As well as teaching philosophy, he started attracting disciples to follow his generous blend of philosophy and religion. In 1966, he decided to leave his teaching post and pay full attention to his role as a spiritual teacher. In 1974, he moved to Pune, India with his disciples. There he established a new ashram in a comfortable surrounding of 6 acres.
He was banned from entering many countries. Even because of his poor image by the Media House on any controversial topic, Osho, his countrymen were against him. They were expelled from the American government and they were kept behind for several days.
He came back to India from the USA and settled in Pune Ashram and started working here in the Osho International Foundation till his death in 1990.
